Start Caring Mentally ill People

Heed India for the Mentally ill

Here, 60 mental patients, male and female above 18 years of age, are provided with everything that has been mentioned above. Regularly supervised by top psychiatrists. Apart from this, income generating training is also provided in Agarbatti, paper envelope, parcel, cover making and packing. This Home is currently operating on Trichy-Karur main road Kambarasanpet.
With the help of Tamil Nadu Government, Regional State Resource and Training Center (RSRTC) & District Persons with Disabilities Welfare Office have obtained approval and are running a Mental Illness Day Care Center. Here, 30 mental patients, male and female above 18 years of age, Apart from this, income generating training is also provided in Agarbatti, paper envelope, parcel, cover making and packing. This Centre is currently operating on District Persons with Disabilities Welfare Office, Court, Trichy.

Rescue and Reunion by Heed India

In a tense and emotionally charged moment, the rescue team located the individual, disoriented and frightened, after days of searching. Suffering from a severe mental health crisis, they had wandered far from familiar places, lost in confusion and paranoia. The team approached with caution and compassion, speaking in gentle tones to establish trust.
As the individual recognized the voice of a loved one—cracking through the fog of fear—their expression softened. Tears welled up as they were carefully embraced, not just physically but emotionally.
It was a reunion marked by relief, vulnerability, and the unspoken weight of survival. Mental health professionals were on-site, immediately offering care and ensuring the person’s safe transition to treatment and support.
What could have ended in tragedy became a story of resilience, community, and the quiet power of human connection.
